Hi, I’m Ryne Mading… I began my financial services career during the Great Recession of the late 2000s and transitioned to advising high-net-worth families, individuals and business owners at Merrill Lynch in 2016. After rising to Senior Financial Advisor and armed with a clear vision for how to enhance the overall client experience, I knew it was time for a change.
Switchbacks Capital Advisory was built to offset the inefficiencies and concerns I saw in how other financial institutions were managing client relationships. This practice reflects my vision of a client centric, process oriented and technology driven financial advisory experience.

Out-of-office Version
My wife and I have two young children (and one extremely energetic pup) who keep us very busy. Growing up in Montana, I was raised in the outdoors and on any given weekend, my family can be found taking advantage of the endless outdoor recreation in Western Montana by foot, bike and water. A voracious reader (biographies and non-fiction please), I’m always looking for the next great read and will happily share my library of books upon request.
A few quick facts about me:

I have played guitar since age 19 and used to play gigs around Montana. (now I play gigs at home…for my kids)

My wife and I got engaged on the Swiss/German border

I used to be a competitive triathlete. Now I jog around the block, bike to work on occasion and swimming involves me jumping into the lake after our dog when he falls out of the boat.
